Monobenzone topical (for the skin) is used to lighten skin in people with vitiligo permanently. Depigmenting darker skin around the areas of vitiligo helps even out the coloring and appearance of the skin.
Monobenzone is used to treat the uneven appearance of the skin due to a lack of pores and skin color (vitiligo). it works by means of completely casting off color from normal skin located around pores and skin with vitiligo. This could help to make the arrival of the skin more even. Do no longer use this drug to treat other pores and skin discoloration issues (“sun spots,” “age spots,” freckles, skin discoloration as a result of hormone medication, perfumes, being pregnant, or skin trauma). Monobenzone isn’t a mild beauty bleach as it causes permanent skin discoloration.
